Well what can say, Fantastic, great, everything we needed, Lois & Bill, were extremely welcoming from the time of us arriving there. Our room was clean & comfortable & we were extremely pleased with it. One warning, make sure your hungry before you go down for breakfast...Because there's lots of it, & its a delight to eat. Everything was freshly cooked, we couldn't have asked for more. Bill gave us hint's of places to eat, when the Restaurant in town was closed. Both Bill & Lois were very friendly towards us, we have no hesitation in recommending The Gables. We travel all over the world, & we rate places on would we stay or go there again, and we definitly would stay with Bill & Lois again.

Good location, not far from Collingwood "centre" and easily accessible by card (free parking). The staff was super friendly, and the room was spacious and clean. Comfy bed, provided toiletries incl. conditioner and kitchen seemed fully equipped. would definitely stay again

The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating! It made our experience extra enjoyable. We felt at home and on vacation at the same time :) The place was beautiful, spacious but also cozy. Can't wait to come visit again!

Amazing and exceptional service from staff. Check in was amazing, quick and easy. Saskia from the front desk was very cheerful, patient, funny, pleasant and helpful for even the silliest questions! Location was perfect. Amenities were pleasant and accommodating. View was exceptional! Also received a welcome gift and anniversary card and heart towel presentation on our bed! Thank you for an amazing stay and experience.

    Stayner is a really small town, but it was very welcoming...

    Stayner is a really small town, but it was very welcoming and had lots of places to do things. It’s not far from Wasaga Beach and Collingwood, just a short drive to either. We went to a small farmers market and saw a small car show. Good coffee and ice cream spots too! We went on a 2.5 hour hike and if you’re a border, you can get some shots.

    Great Stayner location with easy access to Colingwood, Bluemountain or Wasaga beaches. Absolutely amazing breakfasts , all made for us with lots of care, all very generous and quite delicious (ketchup and jams homemade!), we are very grateful to our hosts for preparing such great food to start us for the day. Beds very comfortable to sleep in ! Beautiful big trees in the backyard, we loved the view off the deck while sipping morning coffee. We wish to return at first opportunity.
