Beautiful village - ideal for photos.
Beautiful village - ideal for photos. Cable cars take you to the top of the mountains where Murren and Gimmelwald can be reached. Many beautiful hikes in and around the town. Great location with magical views.
Great location with magical views. Train in walking distance to go to Jungfraujoch. Tickets were easily purchased at the campsite front desk. They could advise how busy the train was as their system seemed connected. There was a shop at the campsite with all the main items and there was a bigger supermarket also in walking distance. Restaurants and bar in the town also in walking distance. Great kitchen facilties at the campsite. We would stay longer to see more of the area.Guest review byMelindaAustralia - 10

The hotel room (dungeon) in Hotel Oberland was definitely a big disappointment. We stayed in many hotels in France, Switzerland & Germany & this was the most expensive & the worst. Swiss alpine village - just what I was looking for.
Swiss alpine village - just what I was looking for. We had sunny days and a couple of rainy days, both were breathtaking in their own right. Nice connection too to Murren, Wengen, and Interlaken.
