The location is fabulous. It’s in a small village with emphasis on outdoor activity, an idyllic lake with an interesting walk and only a short distance to the reed cave. The staff is very friendly and keen to help whenever possible. Michelle’s English is very good!

Everything was great! To be honest, it felt more like a homestay (in a good way) because the staff was so welcoming and helpful! Some of them only speak Chinese but Melody speaks English fluently, so I never had any issues because of the language barrier. She organized all my transfers and even told the driver to help me find my boat. I had the room on the top floor and I would definitely recommend staying there. It's a bit higher than the other buildings, so I felt comfortable leaving my panoramic windows open to enjoy the view. Btw, the room looked the same as in the pictures, so I didn't have to adjust my expectations to reality. There was a lot of natural light and I really liked the design - some traditional Chinese elements with a modern twist. It was exceptionally clean and the bed was soft (if you live in China you know why I needed to mention that). I could only have their proper breakfast once because I would leave too early, but that one time their noodles were top-notch. And on the days when I couldn't have breakfast they would always prepare something I could take with me and it was delicious, too. I especially appreciated that there were always some fruits. Lastly, I'd like to mention the massage you can get there. From what I understood it's the same price everywhere because I saw the exact same paper with all the types of massage at a different hotel. I got the oil massage and I cannot recommend it enough. Overall, the people the hotel works with are great, too.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at an Bonjour boutique Hotel and I must say, it was an experience that exceeded all my expectations. From the delicious halal cuisine to the comfortable accommodation, friendly staff, and exceptional service, every aspect of my stay left me thoroughly impressed. First and foremost, the highlight of my stay was undoubtedly the mouthwatering halal meals (they prepared especially according to our culture)provided in the morning.The hosts went above and beyond to ensure that each meal was not only prepared with love and care but also represented the rich flavors of authentic Arab cuisine. The variety of dishes offered was extensive, catering to different preferences and dietary requirements. Each meal was a culinary delight that I savored to the last bite. Moving on to the accommodation, the rooms were well-furnished and thoughtfully decorated, providing a cozy and welcoming ambiance. The attention to detail was evident in every corner, from the comfortable bedding to the tasteful decor that reflected the local culture. The cleanliness was impeccable, which significantly contributed to the overall comfort and relaxation during my stay. The hospitality and professionalism of the staff deserve special mention. The entire team was not only friendly and warm but also genuinely dedicated to making our stay as pleasant as possible. Their readiness to assist in any way they could, whether it was arranging transportation, suggesting local attractions, or answering our queries, made us feel truly valued and pampered throughout our stay. It was evident that the staff's top priority was ensuring our satisfaction and creating a memorable experience for guests. Aside from the wonderful amenities and outstanding service.The hotel is situated in a peaceful neighborhood, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, it provided the perfect respite from the daily grind. In conclusion, it was an exceptional stay special thanks to the staff!

The property was located very nicely in a little village within the city. The rooms themselves were beautifully decorated with good beds, a great bathroom. Who impressed most was the host! She was super friendly and always willing to help us out on how to spend our days. And she cooks a delicious breakfast every morning!

1. Very friendly, helpful and hospitable owner of the hotel. He arranged our pick up at the train station, helped to book tickets to the cruise, organized our trip to the rice terraces and much more! 2. Location is a gem! Very peaceful and beautiful. 3. Very nice hotel, excellent location and very helpful staff! The room is very well appointed and clean. The bed is super comfortable. Loved the shower and the bathtub, great laundry facilities and breathtaking view from the rooftop. I would definitely recommend it if you stay in Guilin!

    Lao Dongjiang rice noodles are very close, highly recommended, they have local flavors that locals like to eat. This street is a street I visited, Shijiayuan Road, there are many snacks, etc. Opposite the hotel is Elephant Trunk Hill, Two Rivers and Four Lakes, which is very suitable for walking and taking pictures. It is beautiful during the day and even more beautiful at night.

    guilin is a famous tourist attraction, things to do include a river cruise, visits of the rice terraces, tea plantation, seven star park, or a river walk around sun&moon twin. might be rather crowded in high tourist season. be aware of the e-scooters, which are just everywhere and don't follow the traffic rules. besides this, it's save to walk, also on ones own, even at night. if you don't speak chinese, find a travel guide, who makes the booking and organises the tickets for you.

    Guilin is a city and all the cruise to Yangshuo starts here. Guilin has lively night shopping area and full of restaurants. It has a lake and it is ok to walk around at night and look at the pagodas. There is a famous cave nearby. I personally find Guilin to be good for overnight stay to catch the cruise ship to Yangshuo but I will not stay longer to explore the city.

    People like tranquil and beautiful sceneries will love to visit Guilin. Also, the local food streets give you big selection of food selection. An outstanding restaurant I would like to bring it up is, Ah Kim Chinese restaurant. We like their food so much, we ended up eating dinner there for 5 consecutive days.

    The town was lovely especially the Old Town with its street market at night. The Li River Cruise was disappointing because the weather was poor. Another time I would leaver longer to book and check the weather first - but I was off peak.

    I booked this because I was only in Guilin for one night and wanted a quiet place. In the morning I took a walk around the park that hotel is located in and experienced all the activities of the local citizens. The staff was very helpful in picking me up at the park entrance with a golf cart. I probably would not have been able to find it myself. Room was fine for my one night stay.

    Loved the really helpful staff. Especially the lady who had perfect English. She gave us excellent information, helped us book the cruise to yangshuo and suggested what to do to help us make the most of our day in Guilin. Hotel was really nice and comfortable and breakfast was lovely. Would highly recommend. We loved guilin too and only wish we could have stayed a bit longer.

    Beautiful building located next to the lake, and walking distance from all the main Guilin attractions.     We always stay in this hotel when we go back to Guilin visiting family. 3 of us stay in a family suite comfortably with amble space. The location is fantastic, it is right in the old centre of Guilin. The staff are very professional and friendly. It would be the first choice for many visitors.
