The place was really nice, and the staff were absolutely amazing. In particular, Denzil helped me a lot, knowing that I was not from China, and that it was slightly hard to get around for me. He really went the extra mile to help us. The place is comfortable, clean, and really enjoyable with nice food in a picturesque location.

The location is great, short walk to the entrance of the national park, and another short walk to the nearby restaurants Having a supermarket and McDonalds downstairs is extremely convenient as well The staff were fast and helpful when checking in The breakfast buffet is more than adequate There's a noodle station where you can get a bowl of wonton noodles with egg, or you can pick from their ready made veggies, rice noodles and mantou Just be quick if you want fruit, they're a popular item and disappear fast 😂 The shower pressure is fantastic and the aircon kept us comfortable in the evening chill We did have 1 issue where our phones weren't able to make calls inside or outside of China It was likely an isolated issue with our telecom, but if you experience this as well and need to make an urgent call, walk to the nearby restaurants (opposite direction of the national park) and you should be able to make calls Overall, very happy with our stay here

The staff we're very friendly. They organised taxis and excursions to the national park for us in advance, via WeChat. As English speakers with limited Chinese it was not a problem. The hotel and garden itself was beautiful. Room was beautiful with great air-conditioning (useful for Scottish folks not used to the heat).

    Decent Chinese breakfast. The staff was really helpful and receptive. We arrived at the hotel a little before check in time but the staff were quick to clean the rooms. The hotel is located near the entrance to Jiuzhaigou and there are a couple of restaurants around. They serve a hotpot dinner at night. You can add on side dishes if you like!
