Great location, on the limit of the Corcovado National Park and next to the beach. Lovely family run property which is great value for money considering that all 3 meals are included in the price (which is pretty necessary considering that you are a 30min drive from the village of Drake). The beaches are beautiful. Our hosts were friendly and helpful, were able to organise an excursion for us and also show us some of the wildlife close to the property.

First of all the location of this Place is what makes it stand out, its elevated over looking Bahi Drake and the sunset views in the evening are breathtaking. Everything about the hotel is fantastic, Victor was the main man for all things during our stay, from checking us in to making oustanding cocktails by the pool. Our room was named Trogon and overlooked the bay, the suspended wooden cabin has all you need and situated on the balcony a hammock perfect for relaxing in. Both breakfast and dinner were excellent, fine dining for dinner and the breakfast overlooking the bay, exceptional to see first thing in the morning also the coffee is made right in front of you as you look out over the ocean! The pool Area is fanstatic and you can look out over the ocean as you are in the pool, you can also access the beach from tha private entrance just a short walk down and over a hanging bridge. (you can see this from the pool) there is also a tower onsite you can get to which gives an amazing view from upon high (as long as heights dont bother you) Theres also plenty of wildlife around if you like that sort of thing, ( iguanas by the pool, even some Coattis roaming around ) every evening there were Macaws and Green parrots passing over and even some Toucans in the trees right next to our room! All in all an exceptional place to stay in the Drake area.

This place is absolutely amazing. You feel like you are living in the jungle and the pura vida spirit at its maximum. Erikson, the manager, and his family are super nice and helpful. Erikson will help you with anything and will make your time in the peninsula very much easier. The cabans are simple but perfect. You take every day a shower just like if you were in the jungle. They also prepare very good food. All prices are very low. Highly highly recommended !

Quality food, great staff Staff did put together a lot of stuff to do for us and every thing we asked for was settled in a record time. We were there for new years eve and the tuna was to die for !!! we saw toucans and other great wildlife in our three days at the property Thanks Roy for putting up with us !

we had a great stay at Corcovado & Drake Inn. They were extremely helpful, reserved the boat and picked us up at the port. The breakfast was fine, we liked the room (and due to the humid conditions were happy about the aircondition). We could leave our luggage there for 2 nights, while hiking in the national park.

Wonderful place, the family took great care of us and helped in every way they could. We had two small children and they enjoyed the environment, food and interaction with the children of the family. The beaches are phenomenal and overall just a magical place. Happy to have chosen to go a bit further than Drake bay where most people stay - since we often felt like the only people in the world on our explorations.

    Central location, comfortable room.

    Central location, comfortable room. The pool was really lovely to sit near and relax, cool off. Staff was exceptional and helpful in all manners. Receptionist helped me book all of my activities and was super accommodating. The restaurant staff were so friendly, and even remembered my name after I came a few times. Very convenient to have on site. It had everything I coud want and price was reasonable. I already want to go back and will book there again.

    It was very remote.

    It was very remote. We spent three nights there and enjoyed early active mornings and chill afternoons with an early dinner and bedtimes. There's not much to do at night which was fine by us. We loved watching the town wake up in the morning. We went diving at Cano Island and loved the turtles and all of the varieties of fish. The water was so clear when we went, it was one of the better diving experiences in Costa Rica so far!

    Fantastic stay.

    Fantastic stay. Exactly as described except wifi didn't work in our room, we had to go to the office/breakfast area to use it. The views from the room were spectacular overlooking Drake Bay. We had daily visits from capuchins, macaws, parrots, hummingbirds, etc The beds were comfortable as were the chairs and hammocks on the porch. Handrails going up the steep tire steps to the room would have been helpful. The owner went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Breakfast was delicious and made to order.

    Great place to stay if you want to visit Corcovado national...

    Great place to stay if you want to visit Corcovado national park. Not only Corcovado is worthwhile but Drake Bay itself as well. I would recommend taking the boat from Sierpe to Drake Bay as it’s very convenient and the boat ride is extremely scenic!

    Very nice peaceful place, at the grounds of a friendly costarican family, right on the edge of the rainforest. Beautiful Ganadito beach is at walking distance. The cabin where we slept was new and fine.

    The flora and fauna of adjacent parks is amazing but you...

    The flora and fauna of adjacent parks is amazing but you must visit them with a guide for the appropriate access and to really appreciate what is there. Drake is a the ideal place from which to reach the parks. We travelled to Drake Bay by intercity bus from San Jose and connected with the ferry. The "wet landing" was a first for us - a genuine adventure where the ferry assistants wade your luggage to shore on their shoulders and the passengers just focus on getting themselves to shore. The ferry takes an hour or so through amazing mangroves. Make sure to tell your hotel to book you on the ferry to avoid misunderstanding -- there are only two ferries per day and you don't want to lose a day/night in Sierpe. The park is amazing --book a tour well in advance as daily entries are limited. Access to the park is by boat. Birds galore, several species of monkey including the mighty howler, tapirs, two species of ant eater, and many more creatures. We did the snorkeling tour too which was also amazing. We saw deep sea turtles, sharks, manta rays and a plethora of species of fish. Beautiful, pristine and rules about not interrupting wildlife. For example, we were watching a turtle and she started to rise for air and we all had to move back 4-6 metres and we had the joy of then watching her float on the surface for a while and just rock in the waves.     The pool, great staff, very good restaurant inside the hotel (and they accept credit card with no extra fee). Petra the owner does a quite amazing job in organising the ferry from Sierpe to Drake Bay and picking you up at the beach. Especially because it is not so easy to get there this is very helpful. And a special thanks goes to the waiter in the hotel restaurant, he was so kind. :)

    We loved this hotel. The grounds are beautiful and the rooms are nicely designed and comfortable. The location is great and near the beach and restaurants. The staff are all so kind and can book your tours for you. Johnny in particular was so welcoming and kind and made us feel so at home. We ate dinners at the hotel which were delicious and felt like a nice home cooked meal.
