Johnny was the best host that you can imagine. He knows a lot about animals and is very helpful. He recommends nice places where you can do activitys around the area. Especially the night tour and the cacao tour are very nice. The hotel has a small garden with a lots of animals. You can see tucans and frogs around the area. The rooms are nice and clean and the breakfast is very good. This place is definitely an recomendation. It was the nicest place where we have been so far in Costa Rica.

Rio Perdido is located just a 45-minute drive from Daniel Oduber International Airport and boasts 18 km of on-site hiking trails and a thermal river with hot-spring pools.

One of the nicest resorts I've ever had the pleasure of visiting. Absolutely phenomenal facilities with incredibly friendly and professional staff. This was the highlight of our 2 week stay in Costa Rica...already trying to find room in the calendar to come back ASAP! If you're considering booking in here, just do it. You will not regret it.

The property is beautifully nestled along a bubbling brook, close to lake Arenal with an easy drive to Liberia airport and all the hiking and activities near LaFortuna. Trent was a great host with great recos on places to eat nearby. (Gingerbread House is a must for dinner!) . Nice pool and amazing landscaping. Breakfast was simple but delicious. Great coffee, fresh orange juice and fresh fruit. eggs, meat. etc. highly recommend!

This is a great place with a lot of value for the money. The only thing better than the location and surroundings were the people there, especially Kenyer who really took his time to show me around and did everything to make me feel welcome. He even spoted a sloth in a tree on the property. The pool area is great and although the water is a bit cool, it is chlor free as it comes directly from a river. Very refreshing. Breakfast was great as well. The outdoors shower in the bungalow a bliss. All in all one of the best places I've stayed in terms of feeling relaxed and welcomed.
