The house is directly in the jungle with a wonderful view on the Sierpe forest. When the sky is clear it’s possible to see the Pacific. The House has everything you need to cook at home. Be aware that the place is accessible only by car and you need to take a boot, therefore it is suggested to organise your grocery before (in Palmar Norte where there is also the last available ATM). In case you would like to have an amazing dinner, Simone can prepare dinner for you. Simone organised for us a very nice tour in the Mangrove systems which was really worth it as we saw many wild fauna!

Our stay at this apartment was absolutely wonderful! The place was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and perfectly equipped with all the amenities we needed. The location was ideal, conveniently close to the ferry dock. Our host, Adriana, warmly welcomed us and went above and beyond with her kindness and attention, even helping us resolve an issue with our laundry. We liked the remoteness of it. It felt like a real Costa Rican expereince. Close to wetlands with lots of nature including birds and interesting natual swimming pool. Mangroove boat tour done by the family was great for us as we liked all of the birds. Rooms were rustic with no air con and howling monkeys as your alarm clock. Great Fish Lunch. The family were sweet.

First of all the location of this Place is what makes it stand out, its elevated over looking Bahi Drake and the sunset views in the evening are breathtaking. Everything about the hotel is fantastic, Victor was the main man for all things during our stay, from checking us in to making oustanding cocktails by the pool. Our room was named Trogon and overlooked the bay, the suspended wooden cabin has all you need and situated on the balcony a hammock perfect for relaxing in. Both breakfast and dinner were excellent, fine dining for dinner and the breakfast overlooking the bay, exceptional to see first thing in the morning also the coffee is made right in front of you as you look out over the ocean! The pool Area is fanstatic and you can look out over the ocean as you are in the pool, you can also access the beach from tha private entrance just a short walk down and over a hanging bridge. (you can see this from the pool) there is also a tower onsite you can get to which gives an amazing view from upon high (as long as heights dont bother you) Theres also plenty of wildlife around if you like that sort of thing, ( iguanas by the pool, even some Coattis roaming around ) every evening there were Macaws and Green parrots passing over and even some Toucans in the trees right next to our room! All in all an exceptional place to stay in the Drake area.

We had amazing two nights at Greenleaf. The family-run business provides absolutely clean rooms with an amazing view, with monkeys, tucans and hummingbirds right in front of your terrace. They organized limited available tickets for the national park for us, which is a must-do. They've also invited us to their local yearly turtle release festival which was simply stunning. And the food is awesome.

This place is absolutely amazing. You feel like you are living in the jungle and the pura vida spirit at its maximum. Erikson, the manager, and his family are super nice and helpful. Erikson will help you with anything and will make your time in the peninsula very much easier. The cabans are simple but perfect. You take every day a shower just like if you were in the jungle. They also prepare very good food. All prices are very low. Highly highly recommended !

Very lovely old traditional house. The owner was super friendly. The property really lovely and location super convenient. We stayed in the separate cabin - it's modest, but very cozy and we loved having the screened-in porch to relax at night. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

We loved everything. We had an amazing stay. The staff is very professional and nice. The rooms are very comfortable. The hotel is really nice. The location is perfect, close to the beaches and trails. Food is excellent. We wish we could stay longer.
