the hot spring pools with Rincon de la Vieja view and 24-hour flowing water, which comes from the volcano. The temperature of the pools are different, so you could choose the one that fits you. Very friendly persons. The food tastes also good 👍 a surprise experience here. Be careful ! The main entrance is just on the main road. Don't always trust Google maps, he may accidentally send you to the back door.

This place was amazing! Super quiet and close to the entrace of the nacional park (25min). Amazing view from the balcony to the forest and the best part was the confy hammock outside :) Super clean and great shower with hot water. We also hal delicious meals at their restaurant.

The genuine kindness of our hosts was really moving.... Letting us taste different types of juices...helping us to plan our visit to the volcano areas and helping our son who had a skinburn on his arms. The lodge itself is very authentic. The garden benefits from more than 40 years of carefully maintenance with lots of love..with flowers and trees you think you find yourself in a botanical garden. Hummingbirds are flying around your head during breakfast. And finally...the food was gorgeous...homegrown vegetables and fruits and produces such as ricotta cheese..very royal quantities...your own grand mother would not have spoiled you so well. Great rural location. Accommodation is well equpped. Garden is a green oasis. Best accessed by car but can take bus from Loberia and ask bus driver to stop outside Greenhouse Lodge. Ana the host is very helpful. As we didnt have a car, she arranged for a taxi to take us to the local hot springs and also to Upala bus station so that we could then catch bus to La Fortuna.

The hosts are exceptionally kind and welcoming, they were so happy to give advice on what the best places in Rincon de La vieja are. The breakfast they serve (for a little extra but so worth it) is a delicious Costa Rican breakfast. I will be coming back.

Great location, nice parc and lovely hotel. Roger was always willing to give advices and smiling just like his wife. We had access to the pool(s), inside and outside and even to the kitchen for the fridge.one of the best place to rest between 2 hard hikes.

Great food, amazing views and hiking trails in the jungle. Definitely the best chocolate in Costa Rica! Pablo and Anna are knowledgeable and wonderful hosts. The views and the chocolate tour experiences are the best parts about a stay at La Anita.

We stayed here for 1 night but wished we could have stayed longer. Johnny (I think he is the owner or manager), could not have been more hospitable. He welcomed us with a coffee and snacks after a long journey from Nicaragua. He arranged a room with 2 single beds into a double room with air conditioning even though the hotel was busy. He also helped us with transport and recommendations for activities, as well as showing and telling us about all the wildlife that surrounds the hotel. He is so kind. The hotel is very cute and comfortable. The breakfast was filling and delicious, and you eat it whilst sat outside listening to the birds and nature. Would absolutely stay here again!
