The Hacienda is in a magical place - one can feel the positive energy there already when entering the estate. It is tastefully designed, spacious rooms. Excellent views towards the mountains. Home made meals. Beautiful garden - the best chance to spot hummingbirds. We visited the vanilla farm with the owner. We also did some of the hikes in the property - pristine nature , waterfalls , no other tourists. We loved it all!

Actually, I have stayed at Studio Hotle Boutique many times. I go back each time because I am confident that the facility will be the same very comfortable place to spend the night and where I will enjoy a cocktail at their comfortable bar before bed a very wholesome breakfast in the morning when I arise. This is my favorite hotel in the San José area; and, a real treat.

Very modern, lovely comfortable beds, great pool & friendly staff. Perfect place to get over jet lag.. nice restaurants within a couple of minute walk.

Everything. Stuff so sweet. Rooms super clean. Food really good. After living more than 8 years in Costa Rica and testing a lot of hotels I can clearly say that this hotel is one of the best I’ve been to. I will come back

The staff were very helpful and smiley. The inside/outside nature of the bar and eating area is delightful being almost within the beautiful garden. The breakfast was very good and timings were flexible.

I didn't get to stay long enough but it's definitely one of my favorite places to stay in San Jose. Erica was the best part of the hotel. What a wonderful delight she is and excellent chef.
