The staff was incredible. The receptionists Rachel and Krystel helped us plan the perfect activities for our stay. The restaurant has an elegant atmosphere and the food was good. The room was large and comfortable and the bathroom was really nice with a rain shower and beautiful concrete looking tile. Wonderful view of the lawn and trees where we saw agouti, tucans, and other birds. The pool was nicer than the picture on booking.com. It’s large and they really warmed it up during the cool evenings so we could still get in.

The house itself was beautiful and very well thought out. The property was beautiful and included a walking trail with multiple viewpoints. The ability to have the windows open yet screened to hear the birds and crickets while keeping bugs out. Alex and his family were amazing at helping us with any questions and have so much knowledge and passion of the area. It felt like a luxury stay with family there to guide you and make you feel at home.

Our room was spectacular! We had a view of the sunset every night and went to sleep with the screen door open to peaceful sounds of the forest. We saw lots of wildlife on the property including coatis, agoutis, and many birds including a Crested Guan and a Montezuma Oropendolo in the tree right by our porch! The restaurant was delicious and all of the hotel staff were amazing. They helped us book a ziplining tour and a birdwatching tour with a private guide where we saw the famous quetzal. It was pure heaven.
