There are many places to visit at this side of the island.
There are many places to visit at this side of the island. Xoxo, Cova crater, the walk between Cruzinha and Ponta do Sol, Paul valley, Synagoga are all fantastic. If you don't fear heights and like to hike up or down, then you find breathtaking views and hidden gems wherever you go. Hiking routes are fairly signaled, though we lost the way sometimes - but every time we found something extra, a nice village, terraces, locals working in the gardens or on the fields. The town is not big, but have some nice restaurants and bars to eat and drink. Easy to find taxi or aluguer, though not many are running on Sundays.Guest review byTamasSwitzerland
