The location is absolutely magnificent! The former convent is set amongst a forest and the river jagst, that you can warily swim in in summer… The surroundings and the convent itself are just pure beauty and relaxation. So are the high walled ceilings.. The rooms are impeccably clean. The breakfast great with great choices. However, Germans in hospitality still need to understand, it would be vital to show their guests they are more than welcome to stay or even ask questions.. I was told Germans are not used to being treated in a smiling, friendly manner: sorry, rubbish! Everyone wants to be treated like that, thus has nothing to do with country of origin! Newly renovated hotel that was very comfortable. The staff were very pleasant and helped with everything we needed including parking and gluten free items at breakfast. The restaurant was closed when we were there for some reason but there are others close by. The rooms do not have air conditioning so they were warm but luckily it wasn't height of summer.
