Our room was recently renovated, modern, spacious, tastefully decorated and clean. We loved it and had a great sleep with the windows wide open. The staff (the owner's wife) was exceptionally friendly and welcoming, taking time to tell us about all the various attractions in town.

    A typical German Rheinland village. Some excellent country inns service good food, excellent wine and good beer. Although quite busy early evening, the village quietens down quickly around 9.30pm Assmanshausen is a god centre for boat trips through the Rhein Gorge with some wonderful walking country through the woodlands and vineyards,
