Interesting town with some nice old architecture.
Interesting town with some nice old architecture. A visit to the Eis Cafe Cortina should be planned - great ice cream. Some good places to sit and watch the world go by. The staff are friendly, and you truly feel welcome. It’s not the typical “nice to have you, just don’t talk to us” attitude, you really feel genuine friendliness. The location itself feels like a vacation, the atmosphere, the details, everything is just perfect. Many of the main tourist sites in Bad Dürkheim are right out the door. In fact, the Wurstmarkt wine festival takes place literally in front of the hotel. The room was relatively comfortable despite the lack of air conditioning. Fortunately, it was cool at night so we could open the windows.
