Absolutely perfect accommodation for families with children. Very clean. Staff very kind and friendly. Amazing kids club with professional care - kids loved it. One of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. Friendly, helpful staff, loads of choices for breakfast and dinner, a cosy room with a view. A great base to go and hike and cycle from. I couldn't recommend this more.

Swimming pool and sauna/steam room was lovely. The gym isn't there any more having been replaced by a play area for kids - excellent soft play area, air hockey (free), mini-table tennis, basketball nets (fairground style), table football (free) etc Breakfast and dinner in the hotel was lovely.

The location of the chalet is absolutely breathtaking & the views are out of this world. There is a hiking trail that starts right in front of the chalet. The kitchen is fully stocked with all utensils needed to cook a meal. We went as a family & I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone who wants to be close to nature. And the best part was the host Sebastian, very accommodating & always ready to help. Big thumbs up to this property.

Fantastic place for a few days stop over on a road trip in Europe. Spacious rooms (with separate area to work if you need to), balcony facing the waterfall and Alpine pastures, great spa (swimming pool, saunas, inside and outside rest areas), delicious breakfast and great dinner (go for 5 course menu). Location is superb, with walking and driving routes and right on the German Alpenstrasse. A bit more expensive than few other similar places we stayed at during our 2 weeks trip, but worth it.

This was a very special stay. Monika and Hans were warm and welcoming. We had our own floor at the top of the house. It is as described, spacious and attractively decorated. In the kitchen Monika has thought of everything you might need.

    Very nice location in the middle of the mountains. Our stay was in winter and everything was beautifully snowed in. We spent our stay in the hotel spa but were surprised by the beauty of the town when we drove through it.

    Bayrischzell is a small village, so everywhere was within easy walking distance. There were a number of places to eat in the evening. A leaflet was available, produced by the local tourist office, giving details of a range of walks, including to the summits of local mountains, through woods to neighbouring villages and by stream and rivers to waterfalls.

    The breakfast is very good! It is really a small town and the house is just located at the entry from the main street from outside, easy to be found. The whole house is more than a simple hotel, because we were staying there just like staying at home. But the good view is different from being at home. The balcony is enjoyable to have both church and mountains in views. One thing in the last, the house was built as the traditional wooden-like Bavarian style.

    Outstanding place. We loved the accommodations, the infrastructures (all new and perfectly clean working) the restaurant from Breakfast to Diner, the internal and internal pools and swimming pools, the kids club, the superb atmosphere, all was really well above expectations for an incredible ratio quality/price. Hotel made for families, for the well being of kids and parents. We recommend without any hesitation at all.

    A nice upmarket boutique hotel with spa and gym facilities - the latter of which were outstanding. Although a bit outside of Bayrischzell, it takes just 5 mins. by car; in addition, there is a bus stop for the free local bus in front of the hotel, which also takes you to the skiing area. Generous, spacious rooms, particularly great for a family. Very friendly international staff.

    The room is big, cozy and clean. We got a room with a balcony with magnificent view. The beds are comfy. Employees are great, they were happy to fulfill some additional requests we had during breakfast. The hotel restaurant/kitchen offers great local food for lunch/dinner.
