    Cute and small town. Good for a couple of hours' visit. It mostly seems like a stop over town for people on bicycle trips. Also, on Sunday afternoon everyone seems to gather at cafes for extravagant ice cream sundaes.

    The room was perfect and airy with the fun decorations adding a touch of homelinesss.plus a perfect sized bath that, unusually for any hotel of any Star level, it actually drained without taking an hour. The toilet flushed too unlike many other higher rated hotels I have stayed at. Plus a small.refrigerator was very useful and was not stocked with overpriced items to prevent use. Very much appreciated.

    A perfect property for the two of us! Perfect location (on the edge of a forest) with outside space, the apartment was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. A great location for walking and cycling. We walked into Donaueschingen (and back) and walked to the train station too. Would definitely book again!

    First time I've stayed in a hotel in relatively rural Germany - what a fantastic experience! Incredibly peaceful area, yet linked up to the train network, travelling on an interrail pass allowed me to find this gem. Basic, but clean, quiet and with very nice staff.

    Comfortable beds, nice staff and a spacious room. The hotel is a 20 min walk from town but very quiet. The restaurant had a 4 course menu and the vegetarian menu was original and delicious.
