Typical of a German hotel. Clean, well maintained, great restaurant, pillows fantastic. Great wifi and parking, excellent beer. The young lady speaks excellent English and was very helpful, friendly, and attentive.

We were looking for a simple overnight stay en route home. What a nice surprise! The location was idyllic, ideal for walks with our dog. The hotel and restaurant staff were incredibly friendly and our room was huge; perhaps not the latest chic but squeaky clean and the beds were comfortable. And, honestly, at that rate you are not going to complain! We ate at their restaurant and were again pleasantly surprised. Fresh asparagus with salmon and new potatoes. The homemade sauce hollandaise - which I’m usually not the greatest fan of - was light as air and it all tasted great. Good selection of local and other German wines at decent prices.

Everything was perfect. Honestly I rarely comment but this place was just perfect. I’m sad we only got to stay one night. The little bedroom was perfect for our little one who felt like a big boy and was super happy. Absolutely recommend!

    If you have a car, it is a very convenient place to stay. Don’t even consider it without a car. Not many places around to eat or go out at night A very clean and tidy place though, good beds and pillows, I would stay again.
