Hagen is not the most beautiful of towns. Seems to have fallen on hard times like a lot of towns in an Industrial area of the Country. Run down boring city. 60s style. Suffering from underinvestment. Very poor facilities and venues. Untidy and dirty train station. Was there before in 70s. Nothing changed. Definite lack of funding. Resembles East German cities in 90s. A city left behind I think. Will not hurry back 2/10. Nothing that impressed me. Signs of urban degredation. Unfinished works. Road works. Shabby empty buildings. The kitchen has all the appliances that you need, mini bar with snacks and drinks is also available. The room is big and the bed is comfortable. Aldi and Edeka are literally at one minute walking distance. The windows give a good isolation, no noise from the outside even if the road is quite busy.
