It’s our favorite hotel in Black Forest area. We have been here atleast 5 times and love coming here again and again. They have nice, friendly staff, good pool and jacuzzi and sauna area. They even have 2 sauna areas- one for kids and one for adults (clothing free)

Such a great hotel. The room was absolutlely great. Spacious. Everything in it were really clean and comfortable. All the staff were kind, friendly and motivated. We enjoyed the breakfast a lot. Really as good as it can get. And since we travel by train, the proximity to the current station was extra convenient.

Clean, comfortable, and spacious family room. Good restaurant and very nice breakfast. The bonus: our kids really enjoyed the playground in the woods that is 5 min walk from the hotel. Perfect after a day of drive.

You can tell this is a business run with care & attention to detail. We loved it! From start to finish, over a 3 night stay we were not lacking for anything. The staff are so friendly and always checking you have everything to make your stay comfortable. The surroundings are second to none. The views are beautiful, it is so peaceful and it’s a very relaxing place to stay. We were a party of 6 ladies looking for a lovely venue for our schnapps getaway. We did a 12 mile schnapps walk one day - it was absolutely stunning. We had dinner one night at the hotel and the food was perfect - it is a top quality dining experience. I would recommend the 3 course set menu! The food was delicious and every member of our party enjoyed the food. Breakfasts were great - freshly baked good and lots of continental choice, plus cooked eggs and bacon. Rooms were very spacious, spotless and well laid out. Thankyou to the hotel for having us. Top tips: There is a bus running to and from Oberkirch, which is free when you get a ticket from the hotel. They run every hour and it’s only a short journey. The local swimming pool is immaculately kept and a great day to spend the day - 2 pools, a baby pool, diving boards and a slide, plus great little snack bar.

    Although I had fairly high expectations based on the good reviews, the hotel and its staff exceeded my expectations. I booked a room in the new building of the hotel, and it had a lovely view. SPA facilities were wonderful, as was the food, and the staff were very friendly. The room was modern yet cosy - all I could wish for a relaxing few days!
