This hotel was the ideal choice for our overnight layover. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming and efficient. Check-in was a breeze, and our room was spacious, clean, and modern. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and we slept soundly despite the proximity to the airport. Really lovely hotel, beautiful traditional dinning room and great breakfast. Triple room was comfortable and clean, very quiet. We arrived late when food was finished but they offered us dessert and drinks which was delicious. Shuttle service was good. It was great value.

I'm really not in a position to rate a small town I know...

I'm really not in a position to rate a small town I know nothing about. It is growing, based on the size and number of new building and apartments. The church and its graveyard are beautiful. It appears to have a new school. You do not see any litter or homes that are not taken care of. It appears to me, after only a hour or so on a Friday night, that this town is growing, and could be a "diamond in the rough" so to speak in the near future. I didn't see anything that kids might be interested in, other than 6 fawns in a large, fenced area. Again, I only know what I saw walking around the area for about an hour.

I wanted a cheaper accommodation as near to the airport as possible With the taxi fare both ways it did not work out economical I could have stayed right by the airport and benefited from another hours' sleep However the village and the hotel were very rustic and authentic country atmosphere and if I had more time this would be an ideal location for a country stayover or a weekend and not too far from Munich City Centre.
