What a wonderful part of Germany to visit. Simply breathtaking views all around. The room was spacious, clean, warm and very comfortable. The place has great access to the town on foot or bike. The host was very pleasant and gave good advice. Would stay here again

Beautifully fitted out and decorated common area and rooms. The suite I booked turned out to be bigger than I expected, and more importantly is very cozy and comfortable, especially the bed. The suite also has balcony with a stunning view of the river and Hiedelberg's old town from across the river. It even has a gym and an outdoor jacuzzi with lovely views located at the higher elevation of the hotel backyard. Because the property is located across the river from the old town, generally it is quieter as it is away from the hustle & bustle of the tourists. Nevertheless, it is only 5 minutes away on foot from the main bridge that gets you to the old town. The staff are genuinely friendly & informative - Luca is very efficient & accommodative, while Sofie is always welcoming. They kindly arranged for a pick-up from another small village I was at prior to the stay and the arrangement was hassle-free.

Nice hotel built few hundreds years ago. Excellent location - few minutes walk to bus or tram. Just few steps from the hotel and you are in the middle of the Old City. Very nice and friendly staff.

Awesome staff beautiful hotel and restaurant big room comfortable beds, tasty food and great service. The location is great and accessible also the girl at the reception is so cute and smiley we loved her. I would definitely recommend it and come back!

The hotel is very well located. The staff is really friendly and professional. The breakfast is large and nice enough, not too much and quite tasty. Our window gives a close view to the Schloss of Heidelberg, it's wonderful. I would stay again in this hotel if coming back to HEIDELBERG.

    Neckarsteinach is a beautful town on the Neckar River. Heidelberg gets all the press but Neckarsteinach (for me anyway) is a much more desireable location. Also, it has four castles/fortresses!

    There are many attractive villages along the river Neckar,...

    There are many attractive villages along the river Neckar, with castles up in the hills. Ideal for hiking and riding your bycicle along the river. This village has 4 castles, some of them still in private hands. Neckarsteinach is not the most attractive village in the area, it's a bit dusty and messy, but a good starting point for visits in the vicinity. My advise: Dilsberg ( a small village up in the hills), Bad Wimpfen, and of course Heidelberg.
