Fantastic property renovated by the family to a high standard. Bit of a mix up with collecting the keys late at night and ended up in the main house! Family were however fantastic and I was treated to a history of the property and surroundings by the owner on the second day. Rare to find something authentic, with character and history. Great location and a tonic if working locally.

    Nienburg is located beside the beautiful river Weser and has multiple museums which I would like to visit next time. The cycle routes in and out of the town are well sign-posted and this really helped with our holiday enjoyment.

    The apartment was spacious, beautifully decorated and furnished and very comfortable. Lovely kitchen, washing machine and tumble drier, a large dining room table and a large corner settee The bathroom was fabulous with a very large shower. It had everything we needed. It was close to town, which was perfect as we had no car, and we could easily walk everywhere we wanted to go. It is probably the best apartment I have booked and I wouldn’t hesitate to go there again if I am in Nienburg again. Highly recommend

    The apartment was very nice, comfortable and clean. It's located next to the central street of Nienburg, close to shops, restaurants and bakeries. It's very modern and equipped with every possible electric device, even washing machine and coffee machine.

    The hotel was not at the restaurant but in a different location above a pub . But it was pleasant enough. We could put our bikes in a shed next to the hotel. The pub below was very good and cosy
