Everything was as you would expect from an upmarket hotel. The rooms were spacious and very clean and the staff did everything they could do to make our stay as pleasant as possible. The breakfast was exceptional and there was everything you copuld want from a round of toast to a completely fresh and tasty full English breakfast. Nothing was too much trouble for the breakfast staff and they did everything with a smile on their face.

Sleeping in the Hästens bed was an experience in itself. It lived up to our expectations and we can only recommend it. The beautiful little village was also a very nice surprise and the owner of the hotel was extremely friendly and professional.

We had a wonderful stay and enjoyed every moment—everything was perfect. The location of the hotel is ideal, right in the heart of Sommerach, with several wine tasting bars nearby. Our room was comfortable, quiet, and spotlessly clean. The hotel restaurant was superb, and Inge from the restaurant was especially helpful with the menu and wine recommendations—thank you, Inge! Breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of choices. Heidi prepared freshly cooked omelettes to order—thank you, Heidi! We will definitely be returning in the near future. Highly recommended!
