Planegg has a lot going for it. It is close to Munich yet very quiet. In no time at all you can be in downtown Munich or enjoying Starnberg Lake. We experienced a fresh air market with many options, all locally sourced, and an Italian festival. Location is wonderful, quite, green. if you need to go to Großhadern Hospital it takes ca 15 min walking, U Bahn is currently under construction work but also nearby (ca 10 min walking and then around 20 min to city centre). Clean, spacious room, modern toilet with shower. On ground floor is a restaurant, free breakfast included.
