For us it was the trip, a family reunion and a funeral and memorial for an uncle a trip into the past. Spent many childhood summers and winters here, when my grandparents lived lakeside here. If you like Bavaria and are active, hiking, skiing, swimming, sailing, mountain biking, etc this is a great area.
