Easy to find and in a nice location, plenty of parking space. Very friendly and helpful at check-in. Good and spacious room that was recently redone, good bed. Good restaurant with fast and friendly service and reasonably priced. Copious and good breakfast. Friendliness or staff and/or owners is wonderful.

We stayed at the hotel for 7 days during August, with 4 rooms (Superior Double Room with Lake View and Balcony) for our extended family. The visit was simply amazing. The location, the views, the private dock to the lake, the outdoor and indoor pools, the breakfast, and the hotel restaurant — everything went beyond our expectations. Thank you for the warm hospitality, we would definitely come back.

The hotel is beautiful, original Black forest style. Very cozy. The people are really friendly and nice and make sure your stay is great. It has an amazing value for money. Even when I was at this moment the only guest, they managed to make a full breakfast for me, with everything that would be there in a big 5 star hotel for breakfast. Pancakes, different juices, eggs, different styles of meat, different styles of chease and bread, croissant. Really complete really good. It was absolute amazing stay. Thank you, and I will defenitly come back

The people were amazing, very kind and service oriented! When we arrived on the first day the kitchen was already closed, but they still made us dinner, which was greatly appreciated. They also remembered our breakfast drinks. It’s little things like this that make you want to come back. Beds were also comfortable, everything was clean. Food was very good, we chose to have dinner in the hotel every night. Good vegetarian options. Very good value for price.

We were met by the owner who seemed as a very nice person in general. The place is great for Schwarzwald exploration and if you're coming from Freiburg by car (like we did) you'll be met with the most beautiful landscapes on your way. Also be sure to book a room with a balcony - the view is amazing. Overall, we felt like at home. Thank you!
