    Good as the base for outdoor activities like hiking and biking. Our kind of vacation wasn't based on what the town has to offer, but on the surrounding nature, so I can't say much about the tourist's attractions in the town. Sometimes there's a problem to find a place to eat. You have to reserve a place in the restaurant in order to get there. The fact that most of the restaurants have the same days off is not helping too. Generally speaking, nice place. Not cheap though.

    Schluchsee is lovely.

    Schluchsee is lovely. The location is perfect, 20min to titisee and, 20 min to feldberg (highest peak with cable lifts), 50 min to schaffhaussen or basel, 50 min to Freiburg. In the summer period the see is so nice with boats and beaches everywhere. Just a great place

    Easy to reach, good staff service. Great location: couple of hundred meters walking distance from the lake, train station, hiking tracks, and the town center. Quiet and green. Family-friendly. Spacious apartment with big bedrooms and a pretty vast living room, as well. Easy to use parking place. The aparthotel has also a pretty good restaurant - which comes handy, especially for family dinners.

    We really enjoyed the stay in Jäger Hotel. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. The hotel staff were very kind, friendly and helpful. The breakfast was really delicious. We really like the hotel. Highly recommended.

    This dog friendly hotel is a real gem - however staff attitudes need some attention. A lovely place in a lovely area - and very much a Black Forest property. The room, cleanliness, facilities etc were all excellent.
