From the point of view of the purpose of my trip, which was to visit Rhineland-Palatinate (with particular emphasis on the Rhine Valley), Waldalgesheim was an excellent base. The places I was interested in were no more than a 60-minute drive away. However, the town itself has little to offer, especially as I was there after the tourist season.
