    Waldshut is a good hub to discover the Black Forest and to visit Switzerland as well. Waldshut is a clean, nice little town on the banks of the Rhine river, which makes it an ideal location for bike touring as well as for kayaking.

    Super clean and beautifully maintained apartment with generous and thoughtful host who was very kind to us during our stay. Lovely location in a safe and pretty area, close to shops and the Tiengen train station.

    The hotel was modern, clean and comfortable. No AC but a fan was provided and this sufficed. The bed was comfortable and they provided complimentary slippers, sewing kit, vanity kit and powerful hairdryer. They had a garage where we and other cyclists to safely store our bikes overnight which was opened everyday for those leaving or arriving. They put on a lovely breakfast which really set us up for the day. The host was amazing and so kind going out of his way to make us feel welcome and satisfied customers.

    Breakfast was good, but the location of our room was on the first floor of the inner court of the hotel, where people were smoking, drinking and making noise until late, so getting to sleep early was not an option. Also the cigarette smoke, which came to the room was annoying for a non-smoker. Fits you well if you drink yourself out of your wits and pass out on your bed not hearing anything, but if you're sober and want to sleep well, I wouldn't recommend it.

    The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting this area
