Heidelberg is only 10 min away so if you are looking for a relaxing place to stay and have the advantages of a bigger city nearby, Walldorf is the place. They have a nice city center and the people are very very friendly

    A very calm and partially empty town, good for people who just want to go and relax without doing an activities. No shopping Centers, not much restaurants and I'm not sure about the activities that could be done. I've stayed there for a week and had to go to heidelberg on weekends to find something to do or even people.

    This was my second stay at the Vorfelder Hotel, and I plan to return on my next trip to Walldorf. The room was spacious and well-equipped. Even though I was given a room in the basement, it felt very comfortable, with adequate natural light. The breakfasts are simply amazing! (And I've stayed at least four other hotels in the area.) I also enjoyed the sauna one evening, which was a wonderful touch. Last but not least, the staff is outstanding—super friendly and highly professional.

    The staff at this property are all great! They all go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. Please give your staff awards! Dominic went beyond to help us - He made us comfortable, helped us - even took us to the railway station to help us book the ticket back to Walldorf.
