Everything about this hotel was amazing. It even had a bar fridge with a selection of beverages, including wine and beer, that was included in the room cost. There was a complementary flask of welcome sherry as well. The decorations of the room, the view from windows, and the top of the castle walkways was phenomenal. You really felt like you were living in a castle. The Restaurant service and food was really very good. Outside, there were pathways around the Hotel for walking excursions.

Stayed here for a short break and all I can say is ‘wow’! Wonderful hotel in the center of Oberwesel. Rooms are very clean, have been refurbished recently and have a spacious, modern bathroom. Also great to be able to park the car safely in the underground parking. Breakfast is fantastic! We especially enjoyed the home-made yoghurt and fresh fruit salad :-) A big thank you to Andreas Ludwig (owner/manager), who excels in customer service. Never met someone who understands the true meaning of hospitality so well. We also had dinner at the restaurant twice and must say that we enjoyed the traditional dishes very much. The staff at the restaurant is friendly and hard-working. We especially want to thank Victoria, who managed to anticipate our every need.

This was a lovely hotel, and our room (no 305) was stunning. Breakfast was plentiful with lots of choices. Staff were very friendly. We would highly recommend Rheinliebe bistro for dinner. Ask staff for shortcut at the back of the hotel . Also enjoyed wine tasting at weingut graf von kanitz in the village. There is a well stocked supermarket at the top of the road too.

The staff at the hotel were very welcoming and kind. The room was very comfortable with a beautiful view from the spacious balcony. The facilities were of a great standard and the breakfast served at the hotel restaurant was great. There were a lot of food options and everything was well prepared. The location of the hotel was not only accessible (especially with having private parking assigned to hotel customers) but also incredibly beautiful with a lot of wonderful locations within quick walking distance. We will definitely be visiting again!
