The cabin is beautiful and very comfortable. The lodge is well-maintained, offering scenic views, peaceful sounds, and incredibly nice people. My partner and I stayed here for five days following a trekking holiday to relax and reconnect, and it was exactly what we needed. I loved staying at Margarit Boutique Hotel, it was a highlight of my seven week trip. The hotel is spotlessly clean, so comfortable, and so much thought has gone into the beautiful design. I literally watched the hummingbirds and other varieties for hours. It’s in a peaceful location on the edge of the town, felt very safe and walkable for a solo traveller. It was easy to get to from Quito Airport, and the perfect place to relax before or after an active adventure tour! They had lots of activity suggestions, and the breakfast was my favourite of my trip. Margarit and all the staff are lovely, shoutout to Ana and Valeria <3 Thank you team for a wonderful visit!
