Great Hostel! Nice room. We had warm blankets, a heater, a hot shower and in the livingroom there is a cozy wood oven. The family that runs the hostel is very friendly and helpfull and the breakfast and dinner was great, even vegetarian. Thank you for the lovely stay!

The food was amazing, there was also a vegan and/or vegetarian option. They even came to ask if someone wanted seconds, so perfect for people who need alot of good food. They also have free tee, coffe, hot chocolate and amazing banana bread all day long. The hostel is owned by a family, everyone is involved, very helpful and friendly.

El vaquero had a lovely homely feel which was welcomed after a long day hiking. The place is very clean and warm with beautiful views looking up to quilotoa crater. The hosts were very friendly and attentive. I would recommend this place to anyone hiking the quilotoa loop
