Breakfast was excellent, a good choice of Spanish meats, cheeses, bread and pastries. Fresh orange juice and good quality coffee to start the day. The hotel was clean, centrally located with a mini supermarket 50 metres for water and snacks. We chose Ordizia as it was close to San Sebastián (we recommend taking the park and ride which is free from parking Illunbe in the summer months and weekends the rest of the year) and Vitoria Gasteiz. Pamplona could also be visited but we didn’t have time to go there.

Lovely little taverna, spacious room and bathroom both nice and clean. Price (in March at least) was very cheap with food and drink available in the bar downstairs. Beautiful village and surrounding area, I had intended just to stop over for one night in my way back up from Spain into France but stayed an extra night to do a little exploring in the surrounding mountain road and beautiful coast line (I was on a motorcycle tour). Hadn't expected such amazing scenery and wonderful roads. I highly recommend staying here, but be aware that the staff (the ones that I met on my stay anyway) spoke no English at all. This shouldn't be a problem though, the 4G mobile signal is very strong so you can muddle through with Google Translate if you don't speak any Spanish.

Everything was perfect. This hotel could be classified as a 4 or 5 star hotel! The reception was awesome, the hotel is very nicely designed, big comfortable room that is sound proof. Restaurant next door has a great menu and I enjoyed my stay immensely.

Since we found the location, everything was more than perfect, Marco, the owner, was a kind and friendly person,. The location is surrounded by mountains and there is a creek next to it. The room was very comfortable. Just what we were looking for.

The hotel is a basque traditional structure worth to visit not onfly for the large rooms and the exceptional and abundant breskfasts but overall for the kindness of mrs Maria, the madame who has been running the hotel for the last 52 years and is now helped by her son and doughter.
