It's great for a totally relaxing time at a beach location. The beach is good with plenty of safe swimming areas, a beach bar and a supermarket directly beside it, along with a water-sports centre. There is no loud music blasting out and the atmosphere is calm and chill. The age range in the area is mainly older / retired couples. Also some young families. Lovely hotel with a brilliant beach on the doorstep. Excellent food from buffet breakfast, to poolside lunches and a la carte dinners. Room very comfortable with all amenities, very clean. Beautiful bay and scenery! Great restaurants in the area like Maria 5 (great Sushi!!) and restaurant Illeta. Short distance to Port Andratx (less than 10 mins by car). Camp de Mar is a small resort but has everything needed, most importantly a gorgeous beach and wonderful surrounding scenery. A few shops, a reasonable selection of bars/restaurants, and some small supermarkets. There is an excellent bus service to either Andratx one way or Palma the other. Peguera is livelier and just about 5 mins drive, or Santa Ponsa a little further. Taxis are hit & miss which can be frustrating, and seemingly difficult to order unless it’s an airport run. Great resort. Mostly Spanish visitors . Enough restaurants and bars. Beach has secure boxes on sun umbrella stands for belongings eg keys etc . Probably too quiet for families with teenagers and young adults. Other more lively resorts within taxi ride. Beautiful surrounding area area. Toilets on beach. Also facilities for people with disabilities. A portable hoist on beach/toilet area and beach friendly very large wheeled beach buggies for disabled people to enjoy beach and get into water.
