Beautiful villa, very comfortable and a great layout. The filter water tap meant we didn't need to buy water and carry it back from the supermarket! The fridge freezer with ice machine was a luxury. The pool was excellent although better for children who were swimmers as it was quite deep (chest height on an average 8y old) to get in and went deep fairly quickly. We all had a great time with a confident 8yr old, less confident 8yr old whose confidence improved greatly and a 15month old who loved being pushed around in a swim float. All adults had a great time in the pool! The location was lovely with amazing views from the balcony and roof terrace. The supermarket was a 10 minute walk and was well stocked, although we found it best to do a large Mercadona online delivery which was brilliant. This was really useful and we stocked up for the 10 days. The games room was fun, played darts a couple of evenings. There were a lot of artistic touches in the villa and we did put some of the larger ornaments away to protect them from the children. The pool area had a really good shade that we used especially for the 15month old and rearranged the loungers to block off the pool making a great little area to put a little inflatable pool in. The beach had sand but in the sea it was rocky and suitable footwear would be needed to enjoy it fully. Lovely coastal footpath that goes to Calpe and takes about an hour. A car would be useful to explore the area but isn't needed, we didn't have one. Beds were fantastic, really comfortable and definitely much better than the norm.

We stay at this Hotel every year when we come to Altea and have been doing so for many years. The location, setting and sea views are truly magnificent. we would not stay anywhere else. The Breakfast Buffet at the Veranda Restaurant is definitely an exceptional experience not to be missed.

Everything. From the moment that we walked in to when we were taken to our rooftop room, this hotel is outstanding! One of the nicest rooms and mini apartments that I have stayed in so much so, that I booked to extend my stay for another night. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel is impeccable, safe and secure. Easy parking, close to all shops, bars and restaurants alongside the beach. Ifach rock is only a short walk away and is definitely worth a visit.

    We would recommend the Mandala Beach restaurant, excellent...

    We would recommend the Mandala Beach restaurant, excellent Paella, the Italian restaurant Farini owned by the Mandala was ok, very slow service but it has only just opened so may improve with time as it was very popular. O’Donnell’s Irish Bar very friendly, extensive menu reasonable priced and well shaded. Although we didn’t have a car if you wanted to explore the surrounding areas you would need one as we were advised that taxi’s are hit and miss, (except coming back from Calpe they were easier to get). We are unsure about public transport. The Supermarket has most things you would need and there are bigger supermarkets ie Aldi and Lidl in Calpe,
