Location is absolutely amazing - right by the cathedral. We were upgraded to the suite, which is fantastic. The window looked out at the cathedral. Electrically operated curtains let you see ( or not see) the view! Free standing bath, amazingly powerful shower, huge fluffy towels, large comfy bed with wonderful pillows. Fancy coffee machine, fridge and water. The 2 receptionists were so excited to upgrade us AND show us the suite. They genuinely seemed happy to be working there. Breakfast was well worth the cost. Good selection of coffee, tea and juices. Typically Spanish with hams, cheese, bread, cake and fruits. It was an absolute dream of a stay! Thanks to the staff for making it even better 😊

Beautiful hotel with a lovely outlook onto a small square. Fantastic location so we could walk easily to the main cathedral and museums and also close to the tapas bars. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. It was raining and there were umbrellas to borrow, gave me hot water for tea of an evening, and very helpful with information on local events

Very central location, literally 2 minutes walking for the Cathedral. The room was beautiful, spotlessly clean and the staff was delightful! Breakfast available for only 7euros. Had an amazing stay and really recommend it.

It was my second time in Rua Villar, and I love the hotel. It is a beautiful setting at an excellent location just next to the cathedral. The breakfast is excellent. The hotel is very flexible in their arrangements (e.g early breakfast to leave for the camino to Finisterre).

The staff were impeccable, the rooms were very clean and spacious. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast was varied and delicious. I had dinner at the hotel restaurant once, it was affordable and well served (a good option if it's raining and you don't feel like leaving the hotel for dinner). Very easy and safe parking outside, so it's definitely a great choice if you have a car and want to avoid the hassle of parking in the city centre.

Loved it all - luxury boutique feel, beautifully-renovated old house with lovely tranquil garden and its splash pool. The reality is better than the photos. Rooms well equipped with mini bar fridge, coffee machine (Lavazza pods), safe, hairdryer, complimentary water, good AC and comfy bed. Staff so lovely - the breakfast lady deserves a special mention for the beautiful display of breakfast goodies and her friendly, efficient service. Loved being able to finish the evening with a glass of wine in the garden. The location of the hotel was superb - 6 min stroll to the cathedral but far enough to evoke an away- from-it-all feeling. Staff are always on site. Congratulations to you all for achieving a great little hotel!
