    An authentic Spanish town located north of the city if you follow the tram line with lots of spanish cafes/bars; markets on Sundays and Wednesdays, lots of municipl park playgrounds for children and a wonderful beachfront with a huge selection of restaurants to choose from. The beach has strong waves which are fun for all, but make sure children are supervised -it is important to watch for lifeguard flags as they change the flags depending on currents and tides. The tram station is key for El campello as it links up to alicante and Benidorm also- it is good to get a blue top up travel card in Luceros station in alicante for the tram and you can buy 10 trips at a time or more.

    I think you need to find out from others who live there or have stayed, which are the best restaurants and cafes. There are loads to choose from but many of them fall short. I'm quite fussy and not a great fan of pizza or tapas. Arroz (similar to paella) is nice. Great bonus in El Campello is the tram you can be in Alicante city in half an hour or take it the other way to visit other coastal resorts.

    El Campello is a nice community just outside of Alicante (20 minutes by tram) and an hour from Benidorm. The beach is nice and the boardwalk allows strolling with plenty of dining options along the boardwalk as well as throughout the town.

    I liked the room price and beach. I did not like:

    I liked the room price and beach. I did not like: - the owner forbids entering the house wet so that drops do not fall on the floor, - the toilet valve was constantly leaking, - the tap in the kitchen was broken, - the owner's huge dog without a muzzle runs around the house and looks into all the rooms and barks at night under the window, preventing sleep (In Spain, dogs classified as "potentially dangerous" (PPP) must be muzzled and leashed at all times in public areas), - the bedding and towels were not changed - no a rubbish basket was installed in the room despite of I asked to do that, no received the replay for my request. Was not convenient to go outside every time to threw out the rubbish pass by a big dog, - the food shop and beach are far away, about 2 miles from the house

    Very good place if you plan to travel around Alicante by car or do not want to live in the city center. Very good sandy beach with many active recreation sectors. Cheap tram service along the entire coast from Alicante to Benidorm.

    Very well placed right on the beach front, small car park at hotel. Very clean and staff were there to help always with a smile on there face and very efficient at there job. No time what so ever at check in and room was ready for use over an hour early.

    The apt has nice design and decor, it is quite well equipped, with dishwasher and washing machine, toaster, pots and pans. The aircon warms up the apt, but it took a couple of days to get inside temperature to decent level in January. Safe parking inside gated area. Tram stop very close so easy access to eg. Alicante or El Campello. Beach is just a two min walk away, so convenient, beach chairs in the apt. Communication with host in Spanish / Google translate.

    Everything we needed was at the property. Views were amazing.. The fridge was stocked with cold drinks and ice for arrival. Beds were super comfortable. A quiet pool, no fighting over sun loungers. We have previously stayed at the very nearby hotel, Pueblo Acantilado, we had a better experience here and appreciated parking right under the apartment with no need to climb the hill.

    The apartment had everything necessary for a comfortable stay. There is a tram stop next to the apartment, it is an hour's drive by public transport from the airport and half an hour from Alicante. Nearby there is a good wide beach and small grocery stores, cafes. Gorgeous view from the 26th floor of the sea, city and mountains.

    We booked this hotel last minute from Alicante airport, due to our flight being cancelled. Miguel who was on reception, was absolutely fabulous. He was so friendly, very helpful, and pleasant. He is a great asset to the hotel.

    Smooth check-in and check-out process. Clean, fully equipped house for a comfortable stay. Nicely renovated bathrooms. A small local shop nearby provides basic groceries, so there's no need to drive to El Campello.
