The breakfast was outstanding and the couple that runs it, a delight. It felt like we were staying in someone's home. In the room there were complimentary local wine and almonds, which i loved. I will stay here again for sure whenever I come to Canillas.

    El Cerro is the name on the map whereas it's locally known as Puente Don Manuel. There are plenty of local bars and restaurants, especially in Venta Baha and La Vinuela. The beach in Torre del Mar is just 20-25 minutes away and is worth a visit. It's a good place to stay as other attractions such as Nerha and Malaga are within easy reach.
