A hotel which is really worth its four stars, everything was of high quality. Spacey, clean and modern room with very comfortable bed. Wide selection of food for breakfast that one could have in the very nice garden. There is private parking lot a five minutes walk from the hotel. The two nicest beaches of Santander are only a few minutes walk.

We didn't have the breakfast, it looked very good though. The location was absolutely perfect, just behind the centre of town with all the shops and the harbour a few minutes away, but in a quiet street. The decoration was fabulous, all very design and imaginative. The reception staff was extremely helpful and friendly.

We have stayed several times. Luis and his wife are very friendly. There used to be an on site restaurant that was run separate to the hotel. That has closed and now luis's wife cooks dinner and breakfast for you. It's very good home cooking. The hotel is an old 13th century manor house set in wonderful gardens. There are a few bars and restaurants 10 mins walk down the road.

This hotel was fantastic! An old house in a lovely village with spectacular views surrounded by a well kept garden. Upon opening the front door, we were assailed by the beautiful smell of beeswax polish. Our key was waiting for us on the table and there was lemon water and glasses in the hall. Full of interesting collections and pictures. Fab room with balcony covered in geraniums - just perfect! Booking in at the larger Hotel Miera in the adjacent village was no problem and the concierge was helpful and friendly.

We rented a car and the parking was very convenient. 1) we inquired where to park, and they explained and gave us a map plus googlemaps for the directions even before our check in. 2) we didnt think about it, but so glad they suggested we leave our luggage before parking & during check out to come back for the luggage at the lobby. if they did not sugest that the easy 5 min walk would have been so difficult with our luggage. I did not expect for the hotel to be simple & luxurious at the same time. We visited el sardinero beach which was so near!!

We had a wonderful check-in with the young female on reception particularly when she found out that we had just completed the Portuguese Camino, we were talking to a fellow pilgrim, and whenever she saw in the hotel. What a delightful surprise I got when we entered our spacious and elegant corner room on the second floor with an enclosed balcony and plenty of fresh air and natural light. We loved the comfortable king bed with loads of pillows, and nightly chocolate on the bed, tea/coffee facility, enomorous bathroom with fluffy towels and bath robes. Breakfast was included in our tarrif, a generous buffet was served with a great variety of foods. The dining room was a pleasant place to start our days off in Santander.

    Quiet location about 20 minutes from Santander by car. You can take a ferry from Pedrena to Santander which takes about 15 minutes. There is free parking at Pedrena marina. Easy parking available at hotel. Breakfast on the garden terrace is very nice. Breakfast is basic but adequate.

    it had an EV charger which was easy to use and we just paid the owner. no hassle with Apps or charge cards. other Hotels should follow suit.
