Fuengirolla is a busy resort that spreads along the coastine past Los Boliches to Torreblanca. You can find beaches, restaurants and bars to suit your taste. The 'Square' is at the heart of the town, the Bubba Bar and Casa Colon being our favourites. The train is an easy way to visit other local areas as far back as Malaga at very reasonable prices. The resort and the beaches are on the flat.
The resort and the beaches are on the flat. Train and buses nearby are regular and cheap. Locals are friendly and helpful. Lunch at La Cepa near the marina was 6 euros for a plate of 8 sardines which were delicious, the menu is good and the staff helpful. Stayed in hotel but Myramar shopping centre which was round the corner of the hotel there was a place called Carmen I think at the very top very very good I recommend. It puts the big hotels we have stayed in along the Costa Del Sol in the shade, staff are friendly, rooms are clean, the air conditioning actually cools the room down, breakfast is inexpensive, location is great only minutes from the beach and near bars and restaurants in town. The hotel is happy to provide a tea tray if needed. Good quality food is provided at the buffet for breakfast and dinner. Plenty of sun loungers around the pool.
