Facilities are beautiful, clean and rooms are big and have everything you may need. Very close to the main attraction El Teleférico de Fuente De and the most beautiful small towns are close to the Parador. The Picos de Europa experience was out of this world, something you will never forget.

Loved the completely peaceful setting - quiet and views of the Picos from my window. Also, the pool is simple yet perfect - and again, with mountain views. The family who runs (and owns?) the hotel is so friendly and warm. If your plan is Fuente De, book here at Jisu! Fuente De looks barren except for the cable car.

Staff was friendly and helpful. The room had everything we needed and we really liked the fact that there was a washer. The kitchen was good too. Beds were comfortable and the Wi-Fi was good and fast. The owners had a garage for our bicycles, but they also let us leave them downstairs in front of the door to our room. It felt safe here. Bikes are not allowed in the room, which was ok in this location.

The design of the room is antique, historic, and very traditional, really charming and nice. We loved the view to the mountains as well. Don't forget to eat at their restaurant; it was the best meal we had during our stay in Spain! The food is incredibly fresh and delicious.

Everything about this place was exceptional. The room, the spa facilities, the natural setting , the staff and service. Great place to come and relax in the mountains to escape the heat of the rest of Spain. We could’ve stayed here a week, if we had the time.

    If visiting Fuente De the cable car is a must (dependant on...

    If visiting Fuente De the cable car is a must (dependant on the weather). We took the cable car up then walked all the way back down, approx. 14km. The views from the top and on the walk down are superb. There is a Hotel with a cafe after about 4km to get drinks and food. The walk is not too strenuous as it's mainly down hill although the last section back to Fuente De through the forest is a bit up and down. Overall a great walk, 9 out of 10.

    First time visit to Picos de Europa - which we knew for a...

    First time visit to Picos de Europa - which we knew for a long time - give us a very pleasant encounter with a thru mountain type of landscape and scenery. It is very accessible, thanks to its heights and (obviously) with the cable car lifting you to 1800m in a few minutes :-). Though, the weather wasn't that good when we were there - end of april 2024 - with some light snow and quite foggy. You should prepare and dress accordingly, it's still a mountain environment - and be ready to change your plans. Staying at the Parador de Fuente Dé is a good place to start discovering the Picos de Europa.

    This hamlet is about 90 mins from the autoroute up some quite challenging but superb mountainous roads. Beware the 3 or 4 roadworks. The hotel is located right next to the cable car which takes just a few minutes' vertiginous ride to the 1800 metre summit. The weather was good and there was no wind. A busy restaurant and hotel at the top. Great views too. A good stop for hikers, bikers and off-roaders; none of which apply to me.

    + Lovely hotel in a picturesque location away from people, right next to the Fuente De cable lift. Oh, that views from the window! + The interior is very cozy and authentic with lots of details. There is a fireplace in the lobby for evening gatherings with wine next to the fire. + The staff is very attentive, always nearby. + Ideal cleanliness, they also tidy up the room during your stay. + Spacious parking.

    we were travelling by motorcycle so very much looking forward to a comfy well fed stay and Parador Fuente De delivered in every way. The location is unique and beautiful and the choice of food and the food itself was terrific.

    The location is ideal if you want to hike in the area. Unfortunately, the cable car was not working because of maintenance. But the hotel is perfectly placed in Fuente Dé.
