Once Google Maps and I had sorted out some issues that we had, I discovered how centrally located the hotel was. It lacks for nothing, with a lot of attention paid to detail, like the welcome pack of water, almonds, and chocolates. It is very luxurious, and I felt like a queen. I need to make a special mention of the young man (I am sorry, I did not get his name) at reception. Even with the language barrier, we could communicate, and he went out of his way to make my stay comfortable. This included personally serving an early breakfast for me.

The Bavieca is situated within the pretty medieval village Medinaceli, just 5 minutes from the A-2 road, yet set well away from the hustle and bustle.

Everything, perfect little place, great food lovely people. Everyone was so helpful and kind from the moment we booked the place about 7.30pm while driving from Barcelona. We needed a place for the night with check in about 9.30pm. Mario was extremely helpful and very quick to respond to our inquiries and phone call. After we got to the little village and realized it was quite special we asked Mario about its history which he knew well and gave us some tips on how to discover it in the few hours we were there. We had a lovely late night dinner served by a lovely waiter & simple breakfast served by Mario before commencing our long drive the next morning. Our room was small, cosy, beautifully decorated and perfect for our needs.

Our room was lovely. Perfect with our dogs. The gardens super abd the resturant superb.

This was the first night of our trip and we only stayed one night but wished we had booked for longer. The hotel is beautifully decorated and comfortable and in a brilliant location. We could not have been made more welcome by Almudena.. We had time for the 20 minute chair massage followed by the jacuzzi pool which is not to be missed. We then had tapas in the bar with a local wine which were excellent. Breakfast in the morning was also delicious. Seguenza itself is stunning and merits much more than a one night stopover.

Housed in a superb and well-preserved Arab fortress, dating from the 12th century, the Siguënza provides magnificent accommodation for exploring the historical region of Castilla La Mancha.

The comfort of beds and pillows; super white sheets and pillow cases, as in the old times; furniture and decoration at bedrooms and all over the castle; the experience of staying at a place full of history. Staff at room and cleaning department very professional like at a 5 star hotel.

Amazing appartment. Like medieval house. But very clean and comfortable. We were arriving late at night. So hosts left milk and cupcakes for kids. Instructions were to park and how to pickup keys were very clear.
