The property was modern and easy to navigate. The buffet breakfast was exceptional with wide array of breakfast options. The staff was very helpful and courteous. We are walking the Camino, and the hotel is about a quarter mile off the route, but that just meant we got a really quiet, good night’s sleep.

The best hotel so far on our road trip through Northern Spain. Excellent price / deal Clean, quiet, with friendly stuff, great air conditioning. There is a gym, a bar, a restaurant. There are a few parking spaces around the building (supervised), public parking spaces all around the neighborhood and a payable private garage (around 9 euro per night). The Castle is 20 minutes away on foot.

It was great. The room was good, the staff friendly and accommodating, and the location was also good (closer to the center than initially thought). The breakfast was excellent, I’m happy we chose to include it. Good options and good quality. Attentive staff.

    Ponferrada seems a really nice city. We didn’t get time to visit the castle or cathedral but our friend did and she said both are really great and well worth a visit. Loads of restaurants and places to eat.

    I loved the City it was clean and well maintained.

    I loved the City it was clean and well maintained. I got lost and a kind Spanish man helped me get back on the Camino. This man walked with me for 4 kilometres until we found the Camino TRAIL. Ponferrada the City should mark the Camino trail better than they have. Even signage within the city saying “Camino that way. A few other city residents did not have a clue on how to get back to the Camino. The Knights Templar Castle was a sight to see.

    In the middle of the new center of Ponferrada, which has many shops. We were walking camino frances (around 1km from route) while we stayed here. Probably the best appartment we booked on that trip. Very spacious. Seperate kitchen, two bedrooms, seperate living, modern and very clean.

    Our welcome when we arrived was so warm and friendly especially as we had just walked 27kms on the Camino and were not looking our best! The hotel was clean and very comfortable.
