Lovely size - not too big or too busy which is ideal for a family with real little ones (3y/o and 7mo). Pool ideal size for our family and the spa really was tranquil and a haven for those 5 minutes of peace when you can steal them. Food was fantastic - lots of choice. Hotel was exceptionally clean and well maintained. Staff mega friendly and accommodating, very professional and maybe the best assets that the hotel has. 10 minute walk to the beach which is a lovely beach. Sleepy little port with modest square out front which again ideal for little ones s they can run around without any worries of somewhere busier.

We had the most perfect stay, the villa was just amazing and so much better in real life. So much space and very clean with great facilities. The swimming pool and outside eating areas were perfect and our host, Esteve was so helpful and always on hand with a question. Couldn’t fault the villa or our host.

    A quieter place than other parts of Mallorca which was no bad thing. There are some nice beachfront restaurants (Barefoot Hotel was fantastic). Arriving on a grey evening, it felt a little bit quiet and rundown, but it came alive in the sunshine.

    It is a small town, perfect if you want to relax but maybe not suitable if you're looking for night life. In that case better to go to PortoCristo. I highly recommend renting a car because there are limited buses and taxi

    I loved the relaxed feel of Portocolom.

    I loved the relaxed feel of Portocolom. It's such a beautiful place and very easy to get around. I would not recommend if you are looking for bustling nightlife! I wasn't, so it was just perfect and I will definately be going back for that very reason. I can highly recommend two restaurants; Marsal which is beside the beach and also Ses Portadores, facing the harbour. The nearby beach, Cala Marčal is so beautiful and in the opposite direction, again only minutes away, is a lovely harbour, which is perfect to go for a nice morning walk. I fell in love with this area for so many reasons.

    We were in Cala Marsal - a 10-20 minute walk to Portocolom. Plenty of restaurants and a lovely beach bar - recommend El Baul and Restaurant Marsal. Beach bar makes excellent breakfast, coffees and cocktails. Pizzeria la Pizza is dine in and takeaway Sunbeds with a safe on the sunshade Safe, clean beach with lifeguards, shower and toilets Gets very busy at weekends but enough space if renting sunbeds isn't wanted

    If you like a quiet holiday then Cala Marcal is a great location right next to Portocolom. Portocolom has nice cafes/restaurant and lots of boats to look at. Cala Marcal is a beautiful clean and safe beach.

    Porto colom is a very quiet and relaxing area, ideal for couples of all ages, there are lots of restaurants located by the harbour but there is also a few by the beach (Cala marsal) and on the main road down to the beach. One of the restaurants by the beach often has live music, the only downside to this beautiful area are the steep hill or steps down to the beach if you have mobility issues, but it didn’t stop us taking walks as there are plenty of benches to rest and take in the clean air and breathtaking views , this was our 16th visit to Porto colom and it won’t be our last, we are already making plans for our 17th .

    We come at least 2x to Portocolom - and I was really happy this time. We had room 206 - which was more spacious. We were the ones who thought we booked until monday but it was until sunday. So even with our mistake the staff was friendly and Hugo relocated us to another hotel. The hotel is basic and clean and the connected restaurants are so good! Location is for me the best. Not too crowded - feels more local. Best Beach S'Arenal 40 min by feet. I like the breakfast as buffet - good value for the money!

    We’ve stayed at Hostal Bahía Azul twice already (last year and again this July), and without a doubt, it’s our favorite place in Mallorca! 🌴💙 The service is always excellent — Anja is a wonderful host, very attentive and genuinely cares about the guests’ needs. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with that special family touch that makes all the difference. We left once again already looking forward to coming back many more times! ✨

    Nice, clean room. Location was great - the beach was 100m, supermarket was next door, plenty of bars and restaurants within 5 min walk. Never had a problem with finding parking space on the street. Our studio was in apartment building across the street from the main hotel complex. They changed linen and towels and cleaned room after 4th night.

    Loved the location, would recommend Portocolom to anyone. Hotel is in a quiet spot next to a little beach with lots of good eateries within a short walk. Great facilities with 2 different pools and lots of tables and choice for breakfast. Room was clean and a small problem with the AC was sorted the same afternoon.
