We loved the apartment! Very compact but we already knew it's size, very rustic and superbly decorated and arranged. Everything very clean. Miguel and his wife were charming. Miguel brought us eggs and his homemade goat's cheese one morning. The area is peaceful, mainly farms ( casa Miguel is on his farm), horses and cows roam free... beautiful scenery - there's a small ski resort not far away. We drove out somewhere different every day there were so many places to visit not more than a one or two hour drive - or closer. Beautiful towns/mountains/villages.

Very friendly hosts, exceptional value for money. The building is old and full of character, but the facilities are very modern and high quality. The hotel is situated in a very peaceful and beautiful area. The dinner is both cheap and very tasty. Highly recommend. Also motorbike friendly.

Pedro and Ima are amazing hosts. They took time for chats in Spanish and English and were always there to help. Breakfast and dinner were delicious. I highly recommend the home-made cream Ima sells - it is the best especially for sore lips or scars. We also bought Pedro's yummy honey. Shame we only stayed one night as there is so much to explore.

Really nice garden and view. Library is also lovely place to read. We had also great time in the town's square and restaurant that was recommended by the hotel manager.

    well situated for exploring the town and friendly staff with continental breakfast included and less than an hour from Santander. Also you pass Easy Gas (cheap fuel) on your left on the route following the ferry signs.

    Hotel Vejo is conveniently located to the A67 and is ideal for a short or overnight stop. Reinosa is a typical industrial town which is a fairly short walk for the fit but would be problematic for those with mobility issues. Nothing much near bye except for some small cafes , garage, hospital and a mercadona supermarket. Reinosa town centre is well worth visiting subject to these limitations. A car or taxi would be an alternative! It should be said that it is an ideal base to visit Alto Campoo and it’s beautiful valley and villages. All in all it offers a great deal!

    Location for overnight stop for Santandar ferry the following day was good (45 mins drive to port). Location from motorway easy to find. Cafe food and drink was good. I should have asked for a non smoking room as room smelt of smoke but will remember to ask for in Spain next time. Clean room although it needed a little attention but for the cost of the room it was good value.

    The good thing about the location is its abundance of superb scenery within a 15 mile radius and beyond if you like exploring , Reinosa itself is a surprisingly vibrant town with lots to take in , Weather permitting ,and local mountains are stunning if you take a ride to the top , but beware of farm type animals wandering throughout the hills and roads ,

    Hotel staff were friendly and welcoming. This is our third stay at the San Roque and this time service, cleanliness and decor were much improved. The restaurant was open in the evening offering a great menu for €15 including wine, and it was great. Home cooked food at it's best. Breakfast included for €57 for a double room. It's just great value. If you're heading to Reinosa it's the place to stay. And if you arrive by bike there's a bike rack inside the hotel.

    Excellent value comfortable hotel in good location near motorway to Santander. Ideal for stopover the night before taking ferry to UK. Large room with double bed, clean bathroom with bath and shower, plenty of storage space, good lighting and no noise disturbance. Pleasant bar downstairs with decent choice of simple evening meals from 9pm. The burgers were good. Good wifi. Plenty of free car parking on street outside. LUBA supermarket close by

    The restaurant was a pleasant surprise. I'd eat there again. Reinosa isn't the most special place (other than the reservoir and the social history of the "Reinosa incident ") but this is a very handy stop off for Santander. Take either the N611 for a great ride! Good for motorcycle or cycling.
