The host, Jaume, was very attentive and helped us throughout our stay. He even lend us two sleds for when we went to Tuixent-Lavansa with the kids (who had a blast sliding down the hills!). The house was super clean, the floor heating worked marvellously and there was plenty of space in the flat for the kids to play. The village is very small but perfect basecamp to visit the region.

    Location is absolutely stunning, within the hills, looking out over the majestic Pedra Forca and with many picturesque walking routes from the hotel. Hotel has character, beautiful breakfast room, chilled grassy area with deck chairs and simple, comfortable spacious rooms. Staff were super friendly and helpful with recommendations in the area.

    Very nice and cosy house and rooms in Saldes. The building is charming and they serve a tasty local food dinner if you wish to eat there. It is really a very authentic and comfortable hostal rural in the Catalonian mountains.
