The room was well prepared and the air conditioning was working before we arrived. The staff was very responsive and helpful. They arranged a place for our bikes. The location is very nice close to the main square and restaurants. The hotel served really great breakfast with supper coffee and fine selection of Spanish food. I honestly recommend the hotel and wish them as many visitors as they can accommodate.

Beautiful Spanish seaside resort.

Beautiful Spanish seaside resort. Not too busy and mainly used by Spanish (Catalan) holiday makers, so perfect! Large fishing port so the seafood is beyond amazing at the numerous local restaurants. Incredible value for money overall. Will continue to visit in the future.

We spent 10 days working from this house, and everything was...

We spent 10 days working from this house, and everything was absolutely perfect! The house is spacious enough to comfortably accommodate our team of 10 people. The views from the living room and terrace were simply breathtaking, making our workdays much more enjoyable. The house is equipped with everything we needed, from kitchenware to comfortable workspaces. We did experience a minor issue with the internet initially, but after reporting it to the owner, they resolved it the same day. They went above and beyond, upgrading the network with faster routers and even creating two additional networks for us. After that, we had no more connectivity issues—everything worked flawlessly. The location is also fantastic. There are plenty of stores nearby, including a Lidl within walking distance. It was also easy to walk to the town center, where we found many great restaurants. The area is full of activities to enjoy, from sunset viewing spots to seeing flamingos or going on mountain hikes. La Rapita is such a peaceful and charming town. I highly recommend this house, especially for small companies that work remotely but want a space to come together for a while. The conditions are excellent, the common areas are great for collaboration, and the internet is top-notch. I truly hope to return here in the future!

A very lively small town, very friendly.

A very lively small town, very friendly. Good centre for visiting historic sights in the region, and excellent for birdwatching. Good selection of eating places, We recommend Mar y Luz for local food and pizzas - friendly and welcoming staff, and good opening hours. Plenty of beaches, ports and small villages in the area for great photo opportunities.

La Rapita is a modernish town with some older buildings .

La Rapita is a modernish town with some older buildings . Great fro boats / marina . The beach is safe and clean and very long . We got the impression there were more Spanish than overseas tourists . Not the place to go if you want old world charm but a nice town .

The apartment is really as shown in the photos.

The apartment is really as shown in the photos. It is beautiful, large, attractive, clean, modern, very comfortable and fully equipped. Everything you can think of is there. On arrival the drinks are ready in the fridge. A lovely balcony with a beautiful view over the harbor. There are many beaches and beautiful bays in the area. It is also a great base for visiting beautiful cities such as Valencia, Tarragona and Barcelona. There are also of course the smaller atmospheric seaside villages. The town of Sant Carles de la Ràpita has nice streets, squares, harbor, restaurants, etc. The host of the apartment is very friendly and helpful. Communication is very easy, for example with WhatsApp. If there is a question or comment, you will receive an immediate answer. Overall great!!!

The Hotel was very clean and the rooms comfortable.

The Hotel was very clean and the rooms comfortable. The restaurant in the hotel is not open on a Monday, so we had to walk for about an hour around the town to find somewhere to eat. It was November. Eventually we found a bar which had an outside enclosed restaurant on the street and had a very nice tapas meal. We walked back to the hotel in about 20 minutes, so was not that far away, although we had no idea where we were walking initially to find a restaurant. The town is quite deserted in November, not much to see. Was a nice break though.

We had a very enjoyable stay in Sant Carles de la Ràpita. Our second time staying in Casa Maria. It has been updated since our first visit. All excellent. Especially roomy and great value for money. We have stayed in many places in Spain and this compares very favourably. Thank you, Aitor and family for making us so welcome. Plenty of places to eat in the neighbourhood.

We found this hotel by chance when driving down to the Alicante region. It was so goo d we booked it again for our return journey 11 weeks later. Staff are friendly, speak good English albeit my wife speaks Spanish it helped me. Food was good and the wine was excellent. The beaches around the hotel are excellent.Will be stopping there again on our next trip down.
