Actually Soto del Barco is a very tiny village.
Actually Soto del Barco is a very tiny village. There is a paved path leading to a "castle" which is very amenable (the path, the castle is private), and then you can walk 2km to the beach of Los Quebrantos, which is splendid. The walk is by the road (so no risk at all). The views from the hotel "Palacio de la Magdalena" are totally world-class. And the cook there is great.
