The view from the front windows is truly incredible, with lovely walks (through cattle pastures) just out the front door. The house is quaint and rustic. The wood burning fireplace works excellent and makes for a cozy feeling. The hosts have done a good job adding small touches (art, plants, trinkets) that make it feel nice. The hosts are very friendly - please keep in mind that they live in the property and are available to address any requirements you may have during your stay.

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner were very good. There were several different options and not too many. Kids loved the area around, walking to the little farm, riding a pony, or playing in the playground. Finally, the interior heated pool was a big extra, as the kids had lots of fun there too.

This is a very special Parador. Its surroundings are spectacular. I will surely come back. The view is stunning, even though the visibility of the church is a sign of the severe drought in Spain. I had a great time, the personnel is very kind. Make sure to visit Monestir de Sant Pere de Casserres, which was one of the highlights of our trip.

    Just a bit above average of what one expects from a camping site. But although there are quite a few details that allow for improvement we still don't regret our stay. This is mainly due to the beautiful scenery at the location.
